Geraldine Hannigan Obituary
Geraldine A. Hannigan passed away suddenly on February 9, 2023. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Hannigan. Beloved sister to Sarah, Joseph Jr., William (Rose), Thomas (Denise), Kathleen (Gerald Reynolds), Agnes, Robert (Tania), John, Suzanne (Gerard Mullin), and the late Mary G. McDermott (Ralph), Patrick, and Michael. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Geraldine worked for the I.R.S for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday evening, February 13, 2023, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114) from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday morning from 8:15AM-9:15AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's Church (8504 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19136) at 10:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

I worked with Gerry for many years. She made the best Christmas cookies. I’m sorry I just learned of her passing.

Never knew her name but she and her sister would come to church and always sat in front of my husband and I.............knew she did not feel well a few weeks back but she came back to church and now I find out that she passed away. Their Mother came with them years ago and when she passed I did write on the guest book and now here I am doing it again. My sympathies and prayers go out to the family on this loss. Terry Monaco
