Geraldine was born September 21, 1916, in Council Bluffs, to the late Frank and Rose (Schroeder) Daugherty. She was a homemaker and a member of Community of Christ Church.
Geraldine was preceded in death by husbands, Howard Taylor in 1972 and John Stanzel in 2004; son, Howard Taylor in 1997; great granddaughter, Amber Lynn Parks in 2002; brothers, Jack and Dwayne Daugherty; sister, Leona Barker; stepson, Richard Taylor.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Tee, of Council Bluffs, Linda (Monte) King, of Ottumwa, Iowa; son, Tim (Kim) Taylor, of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Viola Taylor, of Council Bluffs, Wanda Hike, of Bellevue, Neb.; nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family, Monday, 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service, Monday 11 a.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a lunch following at Community of Christ Church, 140 W. Kanesville Blvd. Memorials to the church preferred.
