I spend today reflecting and feeling grateful.
I have gratitude for a caring and fabulous mother Janet and a wonderful father Gerhard that showed me how to be a man for the 30 great years i had with him.
I was thinking about his brother who we all love that is going through a difficult time. My 2 Omas I love.
More family I love that I hate to miss out.

Happy Birthday Dad. I think about you everyday and when I see your photo you autographed in my house. It's fun isn't it to leave photos in someone's house.

but I hope one day I know the reason. Jason and I beat you two years now in fund raising for Easter Seals but we had a harder time than you ever did. You made it look so easy. I miss you and love you.

so sorry to have just learned of Gerhard's passing. He trained me how to operate plywood press around 1989 at the kent st plant. Lots of fond memories with Ger and Johnny, Larry, Pete and the boys at the Blue Boy hotel. RIP Gerhard. You were a true gentleman

I am deeply saddened to hear of Gerhard's passing....My condolences to his family....I worked with him yrs ago in the plywood mill.....Only recently.. at the Poker Finals.. we had laughs together about the old days ..Gone far too young.....A great guy and will be sorely missed.
