In memory of
Renate Boraks Greenfield
November 12, 2020
Gerhard was an old friend and Godfather to my oldest daughter, Ingrid (now Moody) I sadly lost contact with him and his family over the last few years. Gerhard was also a talented and creative iron worker. He was always positive, full of life and would make everyone else feel happy (especially after he had a couple of beers). My deepest condolences to his dear wife, Trudi and to his sons. May God watch over him.

I am sorry to hear of Gerhard's passing. Gerhard gave me my first job when I was 10 -11yrs old. He was very patient with me. He taught me how to fix things with my hands and instilled in me a strong work ethic.
I am glad that I was able to see him a few times over the last several years and introduce him to my wife & children.
Gerhard was a great man and I hope to see him again in Glory.

My sincere condolences to the Sigle family. We have many fond memories of being welcomed to your home and being treated like family. Great memories of Mardi Gras and fun conversations in the dining room and being treated to delicious treats from Mrs. Sigle, and of course viewing the train room! Much love Mrs. Sigle and Spiro and the whole family. Heidi, Mark, Ava, and Joseph

Mrs Trudy, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gerhard. I will always remember his warm smile and his jolly laugh. Most of all I will remember singing at Oktoberfest with him and listening to his stories about his model train set. I was fortunate enough to see it during many Mardi Gras seasons. He will be missed by so many from The Deutsches Haus. May you be wrapped in the arms of family and loved ones at this time.

Gertrud and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Gerhards passing. When I joined the Deutsches Haus in 2000, he was one of the many members who welcomed me into my new family. We will miss his smile and his hearty laugh. The world is a better place for his having walked upon it. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May Gods love surround you.
