FRANKEL, Gerry. After a courageous battle with his illness on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 with his beloved wife and soulmate Ruth Chriqui by his side. Beloved father and father-in-law of Andrea Frankel and David Rakoff, Ryan and Lorri, and Justin. Cherished grandfather of Jonah, Mia and Benjamin Rakoff; Tyler Frankel. Loving son of Florence and the late Abraham Frankel and son-in-law of Rosa and Macklouf Chriqui. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Harvey and Joanne of Ottawa, Murray and Joanne of Montreal, and brother-in-law of Moshe Chriqui, Natalie and Brad Dubner of Florida. Uncle of Dana and Lanni. Gerry touched the hearts of many and will always be remembered for how special he was. A very special thank you to Dr. Albert Cohen and the wonderful nurses Jackie, Daniella, Etheline and Yukeland, who cared for him in his final days.
