Gerry E. Noble

Lewiston, Gerry E. Noble, age 85 of Lewiston NY, died Thursday November 29, 2007 at her residence under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice.Gerry was born June 24, 1922 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late William and Geraldine (Fitzgerald) Lacey. Her family had lived in Pennsylvania for a number of years, where she was raised by her father and step mother, Lucille Lacey. She graduated from Damascus High School in Damascus, PA. She married Edward C. Noble on December 23, 1948 and they had resided in Lewiston since 1970. Gerry was Supervisor of Housekeeping for Fairchild Manor Nursing Home for 10 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Women of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1940 in Lewiston and held the Friendship Degree.She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward C. Noble; her children, Robert (Cheryl) Noble of Plattsburgh, NY and Nancy Howes (Don Quarantillo) of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Reginald Noble, Courtney (John) Ruddy, and Dawn (Joseph) D'Antuono; her great-grandchildren, Haley Noble, Avery Ruddy, Chelsea and Joey D'Antuono; four sisters, Frances Martin of Youngstown, Betty Brussels of Tyler Hill, PA, Catherine (Mike) Turner of Lookout, PA and Vera (Glenn) Day of Hancock, NY; a brother, William (Bobbett) Lacey of Springfield, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Gerry was predeceased by a granddaughter, Sandy Howes. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth and Ridge Sts., Lewiston on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
