To Gertrude's Family:
I loved Gertrude. She and Jack were part of my life from my childhood days and throughout my life. Gertrude was quite a lady and always so neat and trim. I smile as I think of her now because her sense of humor always made me giggle. . . She loved reading and music as do I. I will miss her.
My sympathy to all the members of her family. . . .from Ruth Covin Hall.

Forrest,

Our prayers are with you and all of Aunt Gertrude's wonderful family. May our good and gracious God be with you all at this sad time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Jack and Trudy were great neighbors when they lived near us back in the 80's. We loved to hear about their trips to the Orient.

May God bless you during this time of loss.

I am so sad to hear of Gertrude's passing. My mother is Ruth (Covin) Hall and we loved Gertrude. I have the fondest memories of her. While I did get to visit her in later life in Dallas, my favorite memories of her are mainly through the many visits my parents (and my brother and I) made to visit Gertrude and Jack. She never tired of walking me through their magnificant parlor and showing me the beautiful treasures that she and Jack had gotten on their many travels...each with fascinating stories. I remember her as a spunky and quick witted lady (even later in life!) who always gave you her complete attention. She gave me a beautiful purse for my graduation years ago that I still have and will always treasure. What a life well-lived! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family even as I know that Gertrude is with Jack and smiling down on all of us.
