GERTRUDE FARNAN Obituary
Age 81, of Bloomfield, on Friday, October 5, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Charles T. Farnan; proud mother of three U.S. Marines, Thomas J., Michael C. and Kenneth Farnan; loving mother-in-law of Terry and Robin Farnan; devoted grandmother of Marshall, Chelsey, Cory, Shayna, Christopher and Isabella Farnan; sister of Robert "Spike" (Nancy), the late John "Jack" (surviving wife JoAnn), James (Mary Alice), Mary and Margaret Hart; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend and neighbor of Patrick D'Amico and family. Family and Friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Maria Goretti Parish, Liberty Campus on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

I know your at peace with God drinkin that coffee like you always do while your watching over me. I miss you everyday it hurts. Tomorrow is your birthday and I wish I could celebrate it with you. I miss hearing your voice I miss my phone constantly ringing singin pick up your phone its your grandma calling. It was so weird not having you at my table this thanksgiving. I don't even want to imagine what Christmas is going to be like. all I know is when I visit u every sat and I talk I hope ur listening. Thanks for waiting to go on my graduation day I know u was there watching me walk across the stage. I love u gram very much happy birthday
