On April 13, 2023, in his home in Sherbrooke and surrounded by his loving family, Mr. Ghislain Caron at the age of 88. He was the son of the late Gédéon Caron and the late Claire Lessard as well the beloved husband of Mrs. Donna Paquette.
May his forefathers greet him with arms wide open with beers in hands and wines in the other and finally greet his brothers Jean-Luc, Gérald, and sisters Juliette, Irène, Aimée who had departed this plain of existence before him. Safe trip dad, we miss you already.
Ghislain leaves to mourn his loving children Paul (Linda Pelletier), Richard (Huguette), Janet (Bernard Charland) and Dean (Maryse); his grandchildren Geneviève (Vincent Bouchard), Vanessa (Pier Yves Bilodeau), Chantal and Christian; also his grandgrandchildren Hugo, Camille and Zoé, his brother and sister Gilberte (the late Jean-Louis Roy), Paula and Robert (Lise Fradette). He was also the brother-in-law of Jean (the late Bob Wright) and Douglas (Sylvie Roy), many nephews, nieces, great-niece, great-nephew, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, other friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held on 2023, Saturday June 3 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A memorial service will follow at Steve Elkas Chapel.
The family would like to thank Dr. Marc Bezeau for his kind and compassionate care and the personnel and home care of the CSSS DE L'Estrie and CSDE for care given to Ghislain during the last years.
