I just learned this afternoon of this horrible loss. I send My heartfelt condolences for you Rosemary, Gianni, his children and all the extended family and friends. A beautiful soul and son of an amazing father Antonino Locandro. From his parents Doña Natalicia & Don Nuncio, his nieces Natalie & also Angie, and of course Giovanni- spoke to what a loving Son he was and how much they loved him. And his nephew & nieces spoke of what an amazing loving and generous Uncle he was. Their memories of his love and kindness I remember was completely appreciated by them. I was able to see these characteristics in Giovanni towards his nephews Tyler & Dino and fortunately has his grandparents, mothers and uncle Ninos DNA. Ninos friends Dr. Zuniga and Dr. Montoya always shared beautiful memories of the heart soul and character of Giancarlo´s father - Nino. I remember all this and more. Giancarlo may May you rest in peace. You were loved chereshed and will forever be remembered. Isabella

I'm gonna share this story for his beloved fam.

I knew Giancarlo for the first 20 years of my life. Growing up in our tight-knit neighborhood, Giancarlo was the kind of kid who quietly made the world a better place. From the first day of elementary school to bus rides or walks in middle school, he blessed other kids with his genuine good natured kindness. His gentle demeanor was a soothing presence amid the hustle and bustle of childhood. Whenever I saw him at school or on the bus, I felt a wave of relief knowing that GC would be there, ready with a friendly smile. He had a knack for bringing people together and lifting spirits, and it was clear to everyone that he was a quiet defender, always standing up for those who needed support.

I remember countless moments during childhood when tensions would rise, and some kids would be picked on. In those times, GC would quietly step in, his calm presence making a world of difference. He would offer a reassuring word or simply sit beside those who felt overwhelmed, reminding them that they weren´t alone. His bravery and kindness reassured all of us, showing that compassion still existed even in the toughest situations. I hope his boys know, that during his youth (the season of his life when alot of us in the neighborhood were blessed to know him) GC was a beacon of goodness, restoring our faith in humanity one interaction at a time.

God bless yall and keep you during this time. You certainly have a new guardian angel.

Matthew 5:3, He says, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
