Hello Joann,

I heard about Gifford's passing and send our condolences to you and the family. I thought of you both when I was at the Ocean Park show in Fort Worth, and remember fondly our conversations at Quail Run.

I am so sorry Marjorie!! My condolences and prayers to you, TJ, Claire, Rosalind, and Gifford.

Having just learned of Gifford's passing, I am greatly saddened. Our times together were always enriching and stimulating. What a great font of knowledge he was. We have lost a very special man.

ENJOYED MUSIC, JAZZ AT ROSSANIAN, GREAT FOOD, CHARLFORD, POLITICS, INCLUDING AN ALL-NIGHTER AT GIFF'S ROOMS AT ALBANY HOTEL WEATCHING THE 48 ELECTION SLIP AWAY FROM TOM DEWEY INTO LATE NIGHT REVELERIES FOR HST. WE REGRETTED GIFF'S LEAVING DENVER, STAYED IN TOUCH INDIRECTLY FROM VISITS BARBARA'S BROTHER-IN-LAW HARRY SCHNIBBE MADE TO GIFF FROM WASHINGTON.

WE HAVE SEEN ARTICLES ON YOUR NEW YORK APARTMENT, ART COLLECTIONS, ARE PLEASED TO SEE YOU BOTH FOLLOWED THAT SCENE AS PATRONS AND OWNERS.
