Gilbert Gagne

GAGNE, Dr. Gilbert The Gagne family regretfully announces the death of the good Dr. Gilbert Gagne who passed peacefully in his house on March 23 at the age of 59. He was the son of the late Rosaire Gagne and the late Elda Pare. He leaves in sorrow his daughters Marie-Eve (Jose Chalifoux) and Sophie (Georges Ricard) as well as his two beloved grandsons Raphael, Olivier and another baby to come. He also leaves his brother Jean-Marie (Marie-Therese Holterbosch), his sisters Luce (late Rolland Lafrance), Lise (late Gregoire Tremblay) and Celine; two maternal aunts Lucille Pare Dery and Josephine Pare, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends Louise Fourcaudot, Nicole and Rejean Durocher. He was predeceased by his brothers Pierre (Carmen Lamontagne) and Michel (Lorraine Brouillette) and his sisters Nicole (Claude Bedard) and Andree (Bernard Didier). There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A celebration of prayers in the presence of the ashes will occur at 4:30 PM on Saturday March 29, 2008 at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 95, Cite-des-Jeunes Blvd., in Gatineau (Hull district). The family will accept condolences from 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Pulmonary Association of Quebec or to the Servantes-de-Jesus-Marie would be appreciated. A very special thank you to Docteur Bernard Gelinas and the nurses Diane Fontaine and Helene L'Africain from Palli-Soins.
