Gilbert SOMMERT

I am thinking and praying for Gilbert Sommerts wonderful family during this time. It happened to be forty years ago, today, that I was one of many people Gilbert and Bernice were instrumental in leading me to Christ, when they pastored in Lloydminster.I am so grateful for Gilberts dedication to God and his ministry. I know, also, that he drove fifty miles to see my Dad in the hospital to make sure he knew Jesus before he died when I had told him he was dying of cancer. Praise be to Jesus for this great man who so loved Jesus.

We feel very blessed that Rev Sommert was able to officiate our wedding a few years ago
Sharing memories from earlier years and receiving blessing on our marriage will always be held close to our hearts
Our thoughts and prayers are with you

Our lives are better for having known Gilbert. God bless his legacy.

Truly a man of God, who shared always with everyone he came in contact with. Will always remember his calls near Christmas every year, when he would phone to check and see how our family was doing. I know his memories will be cherished by all. Love to you all.

What an amazing gain for heaven and a huge loss for those left behind. Our love and prayers are with you all at this time.
