A super 'friend's dad' for Timothy and a great francophone influence. Took the boys to Salon du livre, camping at Lac Phillipe, many Halloweens. Lots of nice memories and photos :) Michelle Walsh

Mira, Marino, Lilia,

Our deepest sympathies on your loss. I first met Gilles at the Dovercourt Community Centre. After struggling through our exercise class, we would sit for coffee/tea break and share stories. Gilles will be missed by those who knew him.

Gilles was one of the first people I met when I joined the CBC. Over many years he became a very valuable co-worker and friend. I remember his amazing black and white photographs and his love of sailing. I often wish I had accepted his offer to join him.......farewell Gilles - YOU will be much missed by many.

I extend my condolences to the family. I worked with Gilles at CBC Ottawa at one time, and knew him to be a very special soul. With that knowledge, I know that his eternal soul will be even busier now than it ever was, guiding his family forward. Peace to all of you.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of longtime former CCO member Gilles Guttadauria.
Gilles was very active in the club from 1967 until the mid-1980's. He was a Past President, and held various other executive posts. Gilles was a highly skilled darkroom worker, and won the high aggregate B&W print trophy several years in a row, he won it so many times he stopped entering prints so someone else could win it!
Gilles' creativity and joie de vivre always made for lively meetings. adieu, mon ami.
