Gina Elizabeth Colombini (nee Capps)

Gina was the most gorgeous baby you ever saw. A darling round, rosy bundle, always smiling. And she never really changed - just got taller! She and Ryan and Molly and Beth were siblings-of-the-heart, for sure. What a gift she was to all of us. Thank you, Lou and Dave, and deepest love and sympathy.

My deepest condolences to the family. Gina was one of the most exuberant and energetic people I had ever met. We started out as coworkers and after about one conversation I knew we would be friends. Gina, you exuded so much joy and energy and made every moment with you fun. Be it work, or life you always reminded me to take care of me and that I am worth it. Your infectious laughter and infallible smile got me through some of the most challenging moments of my life. And I’ll carry that with me forever.

I'll always remember Gina's fun-loving personality and giggle as we were Freshman year suite-mates at Stephens College. Devastated to learn of her passing and sending prayers to her family and son.

Gina had a sparkling personality and when she can she cheered you up. Her laugh as many people said was contagious and always had a funny story to tell, we laughed a lot. You will be missed dear!

I send my sincere condolences to Gina’s family. I met Gina back in DEC of last year. During those few weeks I never once saw her without a smile on her face! She radiated kindness, friendliness, generosity and laughter. May God bless her and keep her.

I met Gina around last November/December. She had such an amazing and irreplaceable personality. I am truly blessed to have gotten to know her and wish I would’ve been there more for her or could’ve done something. Rest in Paradise, you beautiful soul❤

Just heard of sweet Gina's passing. From the moment we had our first work call together, we just clicked. She overflowed with an energy and light you don't see very often in Corporate America. Will always miss her finding 15 minutes on the calendar for us to just have a "hey girl" catch up call. Prayers for her family!

Gina was a good person she was always smiling and always welcome you into her world. She loved her son and parents with every beat of her heart I remember when she came back to the Harris House a second time with me she wanted to leave. I couldn't let her go I told her we will do it together side by side and we did. God has call he's Angel home to watch over all of us. She wasn't just my friend she was also my sister. We are so sad to hear of Gina's passing. She and our daughter, Sam, were constant soccer pals at all the Comets games, event and banquets during our seasons with the team. She was such a beautiful girl and such a delight to be around. Our hearts go out to Lou Ann and David as well as her son Luca and all other family members. We will cherish our memories of her.

John and I will never forget Gina and Sam Thompson coming to the front row of Comets games and sitting with us. They will tell us which players they liked and the nicknames they had for them. Gina....our beautiful, caring and compassionate relative and friend, we cannot quite comprehend that you are no longer with us. You burst into our lives (and our camper-van!) as a fun loving, football mad youngster and grew into the young person that we all admired and whose company we enjoyed. It feels ironic that at a time when the world needs people like yourself, full of empathy and understanding, that you should be taken from us. These qualities will live on in Luca, who we feel sure is at the start of a lifetime journey that will do justice to everything that you stand for. Our only regret is that, living a continent apart, we did not see enough of you and your radiant smile.

Our hearts are broken, I can’t imagine the pain, suffering and heartache my (brother) Cousin David, Louann, Bryan and Luca are going through, and deeply saddened at our family’s loss, our thoughts will be with you always.
I’ll never forget the first time we met; Gina was such a bubbly confident person, a true free spirit. Over the years, and the many visits back and forth across the pond we all grew closer, Gina and I would often have “off grid” calls where we were both stuck in airports/hotels on opposite sides of the globe, rambling conversations where nothing was off limits, talks of career choices, family, football (soccer), football (the other one), this is the Gina I choose to remember, more than cousin, the younger sister I never had, we shall both miss her deeply.

We are so saddened to learn the devastating news about Gina. She was a shining light with a beautiful nature. Our hearts go out to all of her loved ones, especially to Dave and LouAnn, and to Luca, the joy of her life.

Darling Gina, beautiful and sweet and funny. I’ll treasure our conversations and the times we shared, and will think of you every time I use the mug you bought me. We worked together but I will always think of you as a friend... all your friends will

Gina was a new friend to me, and I immediately felt fond of her- like we had a special connection. She was so warm, kind, and helpful to me. I will always carry her sweet, raspy voice with me and remember to be like Gina- loving, welcoming, and always cheering on her friends.

There are no words to describe how heartbroken we are for luca, David and lou Ann, we didn't see you as much as we would have liked because of distance but whenever we did we always had such a laugh and your spirit and beautiful smile I will always remember, dance with the angels gorgeous girl ❤

I only knew Gina for a short time but in that short time, I learned that she was a wonderful person. I am so sorry that she left too soon. Prayers to all the family and friends that loved her.
