Beloved daughter, sister, & aunt, school principal in Somerset
Gina Papa, 48, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
Born in Belleville, she was raised and lived in Roseland before moving to Caldwell 15 years ago.
Gina was a career educator, earning a Bachelor of Education and Masters of Administration from Caldwell College, and worked her way to being a Principal with the Somerset County School District.
She was the devoted daughter of Michael T. Papa, Sr. and the late Jean (nee Fiore) Papa, loving sister of John Papa and his wife Debby, Robert Papa and his wife Josephine, and the late Michael Papa, Jr., and aunt of Michael T. Papa, III, Esq., Alyssa Loughlin and her husband Matthew, Marisa Papa, and Luke Papa.
Friends and Relatives are invited to attend the funeral from the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland at 10 am. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 5-8 pm.
