Giuseppe Mattina Obituary
An animal lover at heart, Joe had a special bond with his pet cockatoo, Baby, for 19 years. He found joy in collecting antique cars and had several prized possessions in his collection. Joe's vibrant personality and love for parties made him a cherished figure among his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his loving daughter Rose (late Rick) Varney, son Giovanni, grandson Rick Joseph (Katherine), granddaughter Stephanie, and great-granddaughter Alecia. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine, son Vincent, son-in-law Rick Varney, and granddaughter Nicole Lyn Varney.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, at 1pm at Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, IL. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 12-4 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont St. in Chicago. Lakeview Funeral Home in Chicago, IL, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
