Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 24, 2016 at Windsor Regional Met Campus. Predeceased by his loving wife Maddalena (nee DiLiello, Dec. 2015) with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage. Much loved father of Liberantonio "Tony" (Anna), Maria Maiuri (Giovanni), Vincenzo (Karen), Matteo (Jeanne). Loving nonno to Paula Sauro, Lina Battersby (Jamie), Tina Wasilewski (Michael), Christina Sabelli (Michael), Anthony, Matthew, Nathan, Missy Sauro. Much loved Bis-nonno to Travis Robinson, Blake and Lyla Battersby. Predeceased by his parents Liberantonio and Incoronata (Ciarla) Sauro and his in-laws Vincenzo and Maria Mattea DiLiello (Cimone). Survived by his sisters-in-law Maria Sauro, Ninetta Sauro and brother-in- law Raffaele DiLiello and sister-in-law Ruth. Predeceased by brothers Raffaele, Leonardo (Giuseppina) and Felice Sauro, and sister Angelina (Gabriel) Silvaggio. Also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
