Fondly known as Mom Elaine to us, you will forever be in our hearts and alive in our memories. We will miss you and love you forever. We were so blessed to have you in our lives. You opened your home and heart to us. You accepted us as family and we are so proud to be a part of your beautiful family. To the Pfender’s and Furey’s we love you and you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Always the quiet light. Things I remember about Elaine: She cane over to my home to deliver a test I had to prepare for the nursing students. She had this little girl named Lainey in toe dressed in a very long nightgown. Lainey looked a bit like Wendy from Peter Pan, so cute.
Another memory: when I had surgery, Elaine showed up at the hospital to give me the best back rub, she was a master at back rubbing. We had many good times. Elaines husband died young and she was left to raise three small children. All possible because of the great family support. She was an amazing person with three amazing children.

I will have to say that my grammy is one of the best people I have ever met. She would always be there for me and every time she had the opportunity to take care of me and could spend time with me she would gladly do so. Also, every time I was over at Grammys house, she would always play games, feed me, and tell me amazing stories about her life. Grammy will forever be missed.
