she was a great lady and will be missed very much and my thougths and prayers go out to her family in this time of loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Vernon was a very special lady to me. As a guidance counselor she always helped me and even more she became a friend that helped me through some very tough teenage years. I will always cherish my memories of her. She was a true lovely southern lady. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

A very special lady who was loved by all who knew her. I know that my Uncle Paul was waiting at Heaven's gate for her. She will be missed by us all.

This picture reminds me of Gladys' fun years and that is how I came to know her. She was a special lady. So glad I knew her. Blessings to the Vernon family as you grieve her passing.

So sorry that I won't be there for the service. I won't return from California until the 29th. She was a favorite aunt of mine and I have many memories of time spent with all of your family. I will treasure the memories of times past! In fact, I think I took that picture of her! Thoughts and prayers are with you, John, Paul, Perry and Betty! Love you all so much!
