Gayle, My deepest sympathy to you and your siblings. No need to tell you, I've had the honor of knowing our Mom and Dad since the 1950's when your Dad and my husband were in the Navy together. My family and I have many fond memories of our long friendship and especially when you all lived here in Milford. I've enjoyed my visits with her in Georgia and her visits up here. Dear Gayle, Gladys and I were friends for at least 20 years and we had many fun times together. This street will never be the same. I will never forget her thoughtfulness toward my mother while she lived here alone. Gladys was blessed to have a loving daughter such as you. Gladys was a good friend when we both worked at Goody Products. I was sorry to learn of her death. I had not seen her in a while and was unaware that she was having problems. I know she was proud of you children. I think I knew Linda, Gail and Ellis and I knew of Joan but had no personal connections. I also knew your father.
