To Marion and Glen's family.
Those of us in the Mercedes Club (MBCA) will greatly miss Glen with his willing smile and great sense of humor. He added to every event that he attended. Many of us are proud to call him friend. His love of cars was evident when you look at the variety of different marques that he collected.
Motor on friend.

I am sorry to hear of Glen's passing. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and a passion for life. I knew him as a friend of my parents Horace and Lucille Wright in Oak Ridge,TN. When I was twelve he took us for a ride in his prized 1913 National and that is one of my favorite childhood memories. My deepest sympathy to his family.

We are sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Van Slyke, Jr. Our families have had many connections over the years. My grandparents Carroll and Madeline Faulkner were good friends from Louisville of Mr. V. S. Sr. and Polly back in their flying days at Falls City Flying Service, the Aero Club, and Civil Air Patrol. We have all heard many wondrous stories of the days when they co-owned the Taylorcraft NC29556. My father Glenn Burchett was a district field manager for Ford Motor Company, and called on both Mr. V.S. Sr. and Mr V.S. Jr. at their dealerships.(He later became the Ford dealer in Lebanon, TN.) We are all proud to have known Mr. Van Slyke Jr. and the rest of you in his remarkable and illustrious family. Marilyn Faulkner Burchett, Byron Glenn Burchett, & Juanita Faulkner Max
