Glenda Miles Obituary
HARLINGEN, TX.-Glenda Miles, 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen.
Glenda was born on October 13, 1943 in Baytown, Texas to Robert and Helen Huwieler. She retired as president of the Sierra Title Company. Glenda enjoyed spending time with family, working, quilting, fishing and sitting on the pier at Arroyo House. She received the Texas Land Title Association Professional of Excellence Award for Title Person of the Year in 1999.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Miles; her children, Nelson Miles and wife Becky of Harlingen and Ross Miles and wife Jenny of Forest Grove, OR; brother, Robert Huwieler and wife Pam of Ashland, Kentucky; grandchildren, Courtney Miles, Shannon Miles and Arianna Stauffer; and one future great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010, 10 a.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with Rev. David Mann, officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.
Pallbearers will be John King, Neel Fulghum, Bob Fields, Connie De La Garza, Richard Moore and Larry Crow.
