Hey Buddy,

It is over a year now since you went on. I just wanted to let you know you are thought of. I think of you often and our friendship that goes back to our entry into High School. There are many memories. Save me a seat at the BP up there. I look forward to that re-union.

Love and Kisses HA,

Ron.

Glenn was a client of mine for over 10 years. I enjoyed his company (and humour) both professionally and personally during that time. My life was made richer by knowing Glenn, and he will be sorely missed.

Kind, gentle, thoughtful, funny and brave are only a few things I can think of to describe Glenn; our memories are fond and he will be missed.

I have known Glenn since high school but, until he became ill, didn't fully appreciate what kind of man he had become. He was the kind of man who deserved friends as loyal as Laura, Rose and Jeff; the kind of man who, when she found out he was unwell, inspired a high school friend to travel to Edmonton for the first time in 30 years to visit him; the kind of man who, in his illness, demonstrated courage, generosity and gracious acceptance; the kind of man who will be missed by a great many people.  Condolences to Glenn's family and his closest friends.

Glenn and I were buddies from the time we could talk. We bonded at St. Paul Elementary School in West Edmonton and forged a friendship that transcended time and distance. Upon graduating into High School, we deviously arranged to have every grade 10 class together so we wouldn't have to sit in the classroom with strangers. We were friends that simply thought, talked, acted and laughed alike. As we grew older our own destinies took hold and and thousands of miles would separate us. But the magic of our friendship together in those early years knows no boundaries.
We all ask ourselves if we'd have the courage to face what Glenn faced with his, well, humor!
His letter to us all in February saying goodbye was as beautiful as it was heartbreaking. But all who read and cried through it, I'm sure laughed as well. Glenn made sure of it.
That's why I loved him. Back then. Now. And forever.
Thanks for brightening my life Glenn, as you did so many others.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of our dear friend Glenn. Over the decades our friendship has strengthened and we thought we would all grow old together. We have been praying for him daily but it was just not to be. We especially want to offer our condolences to Laura. We know you held a very special place in Glenn's heart.
