Father Glenn T. Conner

May God bless Fr. Conner. I went to Ascension Parish as a young man and I remember him telling everyone not to lose their blessings from attending Mass in the parking lot leaving church! Thanks for the wondeful sense of humor!

Fr. Conner was a great friend to myself and the Ascension Choir, always supportative and encouraging. The music program at Ascension was greatly enriched through his twenty-two years as our Shepherd. He will be missed but fondly remembered by all. May he rest in peace. Amen.

I got to know Fr. Connor through the Duquesne Alumni, and of course from Ascension Church. Mr father,

Ed Horley worked closely with him for many years in remodeling the street car barn into the beautiful church that is there today. I drove by it last July and it still is a good looking Church. My thought and prayers go to the family.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words about Father Glenn. He was indeed a wonderful man and we are very blessed to call him brother and uncle.

The Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Olives Council #3907 Wexford PA wish to express our deepest sympathy to Father Conner and Family. We had a picnic lunch and lively discussion with Father and his fellow Retired Priests this past Tuesday (8/23) via our council parish Round Table Program. Father really enjoyed taking in our discussion and eat his whole lunch. Father Conner and his fellow retired priest remain in our prayers.

We will miss the man that meant so much to us. Has has guided us since I can remember when: my first communion, through youth group and other experiences and our daughter's baptism and communion. We do not believe that we would be the happy family we are today without the influence of Fr. Conner. Our prayers are with his family and all of those who will miss him.

My deepest sympathy to the Conner family. I knew Fr. Conner even before Ascension, when he was an assistant priest at St. Phillip's in Crafton. Then the Church of the Ascension was formed and I with my husband and children were so fortunate to have our Dear Father Conner as our pastor and friend. When my mom died in 1986 it was very comforting to me that he was the officiating priest. He was truly a priestly priest and how we loved him. Father will never be forgotten by those who had the good fortune to have belonged to Church of the Ascension. While he was pastor, he always walked through the church on choir practice night to say hello to the organist and choir members (I was one of them). I'm sure that God has a Special place for him in heaven.....he was such a good man.
