Glenn Crowningshield

Glenn Reginald Crowningshield 86 of Lisle, New York, went to be with the Lord December 15, 2024. He was born in Wellsboro, New York, August 3rd, 1938, to the late Norma Duclos and Reginald Crowningshield.

Glenn is survived by his daughters, Lorie (Rod) Barton and Denise Crowningshield; his brothers, Reginald Crowningshield and Richard Crowningshield; and his sisters, Sandy Forkey and Barbara Winters. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-granddaughter, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He held a special bond with his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Catherine Tornatore, and shared a longtime friendship with Lonnie Howland.

Glenn was predeceased by the love of his life, Jean Relyea Crowningshield; his sons Glenn Micheal, Denny Lee, Randy Scott, and his grandsons Bryan and Steven.

Glenn had worked construction up until he retired. He loved working in his garden and attending Thunder Mountain Speedway. He also cherished attending bluegrass festivals with his wife and family. An avid outdoorsman, he loved deer hunting and took pride in adding trophy bucks to his collection.

A graveside service will be held on April 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lisle Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. at the Lisle Fire Station.
