I thought of you yesterday as soon as I woke up. Ironically, I heard several of the songs that you played for me over the phone. You took me to another realm of life, Glenn. Today being the anniversary of the day I heard the terrible news, you are in my heart. I will never forget you, Glenn. When I see flocks of birds flying, or a yellow butterfly, I think it might be you, stopping by to say hello. RIP, Glenn ❤❤

When I woke up yesterday morning, you were the first thing on my mind. Ironically, many of the songs on the radio yesterday were songs that you played for me over the phone. It's difficult to believe that it's been one year since you left us for a different place in the universe. You brought a new realm to my life, Glenn and I will never forget you. Today, being the first anniversary of the day I heard the terrible news that you were gone, you will still be on my mind. RIP, my kind, gentle friend.

On the first year anniversary of your passing I am still heartbroken about losing such a good friend. I was driving and happened to look up just as I passed your house about a week ago and tears immediately begin to flow. Memories of you are so fresh in my mind as I think they always will be. The hundreds of times i visited with you and we shared a slice of pizza and hours of conversation. You always had a sparkle in your eye when I would come see you and you told me such great stories and taught me so much about myself and about life. You taught me about the vegetables you grew and flowers you could eat. I loved to sit and talk to you while you would cook and I miss you playing guitar for me. I miss you so much dear friend.. life has not been the same without you.

Today, on what would've been his big 5-0, I think of Glenn.Such a loving, passionate and brilliant man. I remember listening to Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel with Glenn and also watching him in the African drumming ensemble at the University of Pittsburgh. He just had this deep-seeded love for music.I can recall speaking with him soon after he graduated with a degree in massage, he exuded excitement and confidence. Glenn was such a caring man, as my mother lay on her death bed from cancer he offered a massage to try and free her of some of the pain.I will always love and miss you, my dear dear friend. When I saw the story about Glenn on the PG website Monday morning, my heart sank into the pit of my gut. Glenn was a classmate of mine at Jefferson Elementary School in Mt. Lebanon, and we used to clown around in Mr. Cornell's 5th Grade class. Lost track of Glenn through High School, but was reacquainted with him about 10 years ago through mutual musician friends when I started taking an interest in music and drumming. I am going to miss Glenn's free spirit, kind persona, and his drumming talents. My deepest sympathy to his family, and all of our mutual friends.
