Glenn FORD

I didn't know Glenn Ford I was born in 1959, and was never in the movie business, but I love his movies and I know he was a skilled horseman and a talented actor for many years and I have been watching his movies for many years. There is another reason why I am getting in touch, my Grandfather Cecil Brown was born in 1893 and later as a young man joined the army as a gunner in the Royal Artillery he was a first class shot and could ride a horse fairly well in the Great War at the Somme in 1914-1918. My Grandfather later was taken out of the trenches because he was a pianist and transferred to the entertainment for morale to entertain the troops. After the Great War my Grandfather was a silent movie pianist at the Epping Empire in Waltham Forest England and played to Silent movie Westerns to famous silent movie actors to Tom Mix and William S Heart. I worked with Glenn for several years. He was a stand-up guy. My condolences to the family.

Glenn was a good old boy and will be missed. I lived by him for many years and always like talking to him.
