Dr. Kawesch was a true pioneer in the field of Lasik Surgery. He changed my vision in a matter of seconds. Thanks to him, I haven't had to wear glasses since I was 12 years old. He also changed the vision of my wife and her brother and my son and his wife. He will be dearly missed. Our prayers go out to his family and staff!

Dr. Kawesch will always remain a God send in our eyes. He restored my vision last year in his La Jolla office. I will forever be grateful to him. He knew how much it meant to me, because as soon as they had me sit up, I began to cry...I gave him a hug and thanked him every chance I got...even to this day in my prayers I thank him for sharing such a wonderful gift. I also told him that as soon as my son was of age (he's 6 with glasses) that no matter where the military would send us, we would come back and get my son's eyes restored. I think even now, I plan to follow through with it...hopefully through his brother Gary. To all the friends and family of Dr. Kawesch, please know that you are all in my prayers and my family sends out their warmest regards! Forever grateful,

dr. kawesch saved my vision. he was a fine man, and truely cared about helping people. imso sorry that his life was cut short. He and dr. stern implanted a lens in each of my eyes in 1989 and 1990. I would have been blind at 46. thank god for men like him.

I am in shock about this untimely passing of my lasik surgeon. He was such a personable doctor and I had just recommended him to two more of my friends. I am so sorry and my condolances go to his family, friends and wonderful office staffers.
