Glenn Koch Obituary

Feb. 16, 1953 - Dec. 23, 2015 Glenn Allen Koch, Sr., 62, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. He was a native of Baltimore, MD and a resident of Madison County for 62 years. Mr. Koch retired from the Huntsville Police Department in 2013 with 41 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Paula Bates Koch; son, Glenn Allen Koch II (Jamie) of Huntsville; daughter, Jana Michelle Koch of Huntsville; brother, Richard Koch III (Tina) of Johns Creek, GA; two sisters, Amy Hansen (Fred) of Troy, MI and Joyce Coleman (Rick) of Madison; and four grandchildren: Hunter, Parker, Erin, and Savannah. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral followed by a 1:30 p.m. chapel service with Chaplain Charles E. Bates officiating. Burial will be at Blanche Cemetery.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family. Glenn was a very good big brother to my (lifelong) dear friend Joyce. He was always kind, helpful, and ready to protect his loved ones. My words can't express how much I ache for you all.
