Glenn Arden Martin, a talented musician, author, and loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. Born in Chicago, Glenn spent much of his life in the Chicago area before relocating to Missouri with his beloved wife, Bobbe. They made their home in St. Charles County, where Glenn continued to share his many talents and passions with those around him.

Glenn was known for his creativity and dedication. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was an accomplished pianist who found joy in bringing music to others. He volunteered regularly at the local hospital, filling the lobby with the soothing sounds of piano music for patients and visitors alike. Glenn also composed original pieces that reflected his deep love for music. In addition to his musical pursuits, Glenn was a gifted writer who authored two books: "The Little Tree" and "The Night Dragons." His works captured his imaginative spirit and love of storytelling, leaving a lasting legacy for readers to enjoy.

Glenn's zest for life and passion for art and music were gifts he passed on to his three children-Laurie, Andrew, and Jen-and to his extended family. His influence will continue to resonate through the lives he touched.

I only new Glenn for a couple of years. I would have appointments and go to classes at the Mercy Clarkson Clayton building and he would be playing the piano. We would talk sometimes about the music and his books. I´m very sorry for your loss. It was a nice man.
