Glenn "Mac" Russel McAmis, age 78, a resident of Antlers, formerly of Farris and Oleta, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Atoka. He was born on Friday, February 24, 1939, to Russell Aiken and Eleanor Rudd (Holesworth) McAmis at San Francisco, CA. Glenn graduated High School and was a ditch operator for the pipeline. Mac served his country in The Army. He married Verna Faye Barnes. She preceded him in death. Mac enjoyed working and reading. Glenn was preceded in death by Russell and Eleanor McAmis, his wife Verna Faye McAmis, and grandsons FCC Sean Lee Morgan and Matt Hodges; great-granddaughter Bailey Battice; step son Ed Morgan and special friend Tina Greenwood. He is survived by his grandchildren: Veronica Speer and husband Olen of Atoka; SoonHi Morgan of Atoka; Natalie Wilson of Hugo; Luke Hodges of Longview, WA; Glenn Hodges and wife Jennifer of Portland, OR; Jack Wilson and wife Vanessa of Osage Beach, MO; Janine Teagle and husband Bryant of Yorktown, VA; Stan Morgan and wife Jessica of Letcher, KY; Erica Scott and husband Eric of Lineford, KY; David Morgan of Morganfield, KY; Tommy Morgan and wife Anji of Hermiston; Step-children: Stanley Morgan and wife Marquetta of Martinsville, VA; Judy Wilson and husband Jack of Eldon, MO; Donna Coburn and husband Roy of Seaside, OR; and close friends: Donna Buchanon and husband Roger of Antlers, and his little buddy Kady Buchanon; along with numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
