Glen was the type of individual that even if you only met once you would always remember. I had the opportunity of meeting Glen several times during my visits to Tina and Shirley, and he always came across as incredibly thoughtful, kind and personable - with an amazing sense of humor. He had a larger than life, yet very warm presence, and was just a beautiful soul who lit up a room. He made you feel that you were special and he was genuinely glad to see you. I will always remember the thoughtfulness of Glen and Bob after my partner had passed away, when they hosted a cocktail to coincide with one of my visits. Although my own emotions were very raw during that period, their small gathering of warm, supportive friends made for a very special, enjoyable time. Overall, Glen was just one of those individuals where being thoughtful of others came naturally. He will be deeply missed by not only his long-time close friends, but by those whose lives he even briefly touched and on which he left lasting, loving memories.

The neighborhood "cocktail crawl" a fun variant of a progressive dinner was the occasion that I met Glenn and his beloved Bob. Glenn's elegance, poise, and sly good humor were all complimented by his fantastic platters of baked goods and appetizers. Glenn was a skilled patissier. But hIs real value lay in the greatness of his character and his keen but gentle mind. Glenn was always willing to share himself deeply; always a joy to spend time with.

Tina wrote the most beautiful and heart-felt obituary I've ever read. Her memories tell a story about a man who was many things in his life, many we never knew.
My fondest memory of Glenn was watching him run across the street, his kimono flapping in the wind, and his arms outstretched holding a platter of delicious pastries for a party hosted by Tina and Shirley. I remember thinking, "Isn't that odd". Now that I know more about him, it wasn't odd at all. Instead, it was precious.

My husband and I had the lovely opportunity to share many wonderfully rich and cherished memories of Glenn at several neighborhood gatherings. He was always the light at the parties and allowed his unique personality to shine
brightly at each occasion. He was kind, funny and genuine, and you could rest assured that he would not only entertain you, but offer up himself and his spirit ( in many delightedly ways ) to be a friend and
a welcome optimist.
Much love for this passionate and illuminated human.
Bless you, Glenn.

So sorry to hear this. Patti and I lived next door to Bob and Glenn for 25 years. Glenn was a wonderful man who loved all animals and was so kind to us and our dog Marcus. Very sad. Loren.

I also was fortunate enough to be a neighbor of Glenn and Bob. I knew that every time I saw Glenn and stopped to chat It was going to be enjoyable. Most people can´t say that about (all) their neighbors. I´m not sure how funny Glenn was with the rest of his acquaintances, but he was always very funny with me. A real pleasure of a human being for sure.

I really miss Glenn. He was the life of the party and I have many wonderful memories of him throughout the 20 years I lived opposite him. He also was a great baker..and I always ate far too much. He and Bob were the mayors of our street. We always felt safe because they were both there to help us out - which they did on many occasions. I would see Glenn walking the dog in the morning and he'd always stop to chat. I miss those chats and seeing his smiling handsome face.
