GLENN S. ROSS

GLENN S. ROSS, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Parkview Regional. Born April 17, 1934, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late George and Helen Ross. He was a member of Carpenters Local Union 232 for 55 years. He was in the Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a loving and devoted husband of 57 years and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and building bird feeders. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and American Legion Post 499. Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Fairfield) Ross; daughter, Glenna Ross; son, Stan (Missy) Ross; granddaughter, Sydney Ross; and granddogs, Della, Daisy and Reggie. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Jerry and Lee; and sisters, Adella and Corky. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Betty Frolick officiating. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
