Glenn Taylor

Glenn A. Taylor, 77, passed away on July 19, 2025, in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Born on August 31, 1947, in East Detroit, Michigan, Glenn lived a life marked by dedication-to his country, his work, and most of all, to his family.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Glenn served his country with honor before embarking on a long and respected career at Detroit Edison's Marysville Power Plant. His commitment to service and hard work was evident throughout his life.

Glenn shared a lifelong love with his wife Kathleen-a bond that began in high school and endured through every chapter of their lives together. Though she preceded him in death, their story remains etched in the hearts of those who knew them.

He was a beloved husband, a devoted father to his daughter Carrie and her husband Vince, and to his son Glenn. As a grandfather, he took great pride in the lives of Brittany and her husband RJ; Brandon; Courtney; Brandon; Alex; Ciera and her husband Josh; Daryn; and Logan. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Kellen, Mila, Stella, Jaxton, Jayden, and Wessen.

Surrounded by love in his final days, Glenn will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the stories shared around family tables and the quiet strength he instilled in those he loved.
