In memory of
Traci ("Tra")
June 7, 2022
Today would have been your 75th birthday. I miss you so, so much. The pain of losing you is almost more than I can bear. But what soothes my spirit is knowing that you are at peace. You are no longer suffering. Your quality of life had been declining for years, but the last few months had been the hardest. I had to lose you so that you didn't have to experience that pain any longer. And that's what I have to remember. You are with God, your siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, your mother, father, friends & all those gone before you. I imagine that you are probably laughing and dancing with them. You are now free. I love you immensely and you will always be my mother, my supporter, my biggest fan; my Gloria.

It was an honor to get to know Gloria and Traci. The amount of love in the room when they were both there was palpable. I will never forget Gloria's smile.

We met 1967 at work at DSS. We had so much fun. We remained friends over these years. I last spoke to Gloria a few months ago and she was still
her funny self. I am going to miss my
Sweet funny friend. We rarely saw each other because I live in Florida
But the memories will live on. Rest in Heavenly Peace my dear friend

I've known Gloria since high school and we lived in the same complex. She was a joyful and happy person, we had great conversations with lots of laughs. I was truly blessed to know Gloria and I will miss her. Thank you Traci for keeping your precious Mother and me connected. Traci, you took great care of your Mother (your Angel) thereby, you will always be blessed.
(Angel) thereby, you will never have to worry about your blessings.

Friends since childhood in Bernice, Louisiana. Those long phone conversations and hearing about her travels will truly be missed. A beautiful soul no longer among us but memories will not be forgotten.

It was an honor having the opportunity to get to know Gloria while serving with her on the EBEA board many years ago. I was a young educator and she was a great mentor. I was always excited to see her welcoming smile when I would travel to conventions or meetings. It took me a couple of years to realize she had quite the sense of humor and we sure did share some laughs.
