Gloria A. (Cravener) Eby, age 81, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of North Canton, went home to the Lord on September 13, 2006, at The Life Care Center of Tucson after suffering a stroke in late July. She was born September 26, 1924, in Canton, OH, to the late Eddie and Gretchen Cravener. She graduated from McKinley High School. She worked briefly for Diebolds, was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Rainbow Girls before marrying the late Gordon L. Eby in July of 1945. Gloria loved to travel, spend time at The Wilderness Center with her late husband, and was an avid gardener. In 1996, she moved to Tucson, AZ. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Donna Eby of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Chester Baylor of Tucson, AZ; and daughter, Jan Sedon of Littleton, CO; and four grandchildren, Rob Eby of Seattle, WA, Beth Eby of Baltimore, MD, Jed Baylor of Tucson, AZ and Courtney Sedon of Parker, CO. Memorial services will be held September 22, 2006, at The Place in Tucson. Donations in Gloria's name may be made to Casa De La Luz Hospice of Tucson, AZ. Gloria will be missed by her family and friends, for she was a blessing to all those who met and knew her. It is a comfort to know she is with the Lord, her parents and her husband.
