Gloria H. Ohrt

Peoria - Gloria H. Ohrt, nee McLean, passed away on June 10, 2024, in Peoria, AZ, at the age of 92. She was born on December 10, 1931, in Omaha, NE.

Gloria worked various secretarial and receptionist positions, including at Boystown, Monsanto, and the University of Louisville.

She is survived by her loving children, Pam Siebrandt (Lonnie) of Peoria, Arizona, Dave Ohrt, of Urbandale, Iowa and Steve Ohrt (Kathy), of St. Louis, Missouri, four grandchildren: Matt Siebrandt, Mitch Siebrandt, McLean Ohrt and Kalyn Ohrt, and one great granddaughter, Lily Siebrandt. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ohrt, her son Roger Ohrt, and her sister Jackie Lee.

Gloria attended Millard School District for primary school and St. John's High School in Omaha, NE.

She worshipped at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Sun City, AZ.

Gloria had a passion for sports, particularly the St. Louis Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Nebraska Cornhuskers. She was an enthusiastic reader and enjoyed walking long before it became popular.

A funeral mass will be held in Gloria's honor on June 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Sun City, AZ. The interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona will be private. A Celebration of Life will take place in the fall for family and friends to gather.
