Gloria Jean (Capps) Reynolds

Cynthiana, Ind. - Gloria Jean (Capps) Reynolds, 72, of Cynthiana, Indiana, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Linda E. White Hospice House surrounded by her family.

Gloria was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 14, 1946 to the late Thomas Heady and Bettie (Becker) Alsip. She retired from Whirlpool in 2007 after many years of service. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed vacationing with her family and friends, especially to Myrtle Beach. She also loved spending time doing crafts and shopping. Gloria was a fighter. She fought hard and loved just as hard. She will be deeply missed.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert Reynolds; daughters, Kim Schmitt of Evansville, IN, Rhonda Montiel of Chula Vista, CA, Angela Green (Dan) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Robin Hale (Aaron) of Lanesville, IN; sons, Dennis Merideth (Karen) of Cynthiana, IN and Ronald Merideth (Angela) of Cynthiana, IN; sisters, Donna Dougherty (Joe) and Judith Moran; eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Linda Glisson.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.

Memorial contributions may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet St, Evansville, IN 47710.
