Gloria Zilinski

Mrs. Gloria Zilinski, age 100, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at Ponds Edge Assisted Living in Zephyrhills, Florida. Born on October 4, 1925, in Michigan, Gloria lived a full century marked by faith, service, and devotion.

She was the daughter of John and Hazel Baustert and was preceded in death by her siblings: Geraldine Kearney, Donna Baustert, John Baustert Jr. and Joyce Hubbell. Gloria was a devoted wife to both Walter Sklepinski and later Walter Zilinski, cherishing her time with each until their respective passings.

Throughout her professional life, Gloria embraced roles that reflected her creativity and care for others. She owned a beauty shop and also worked as a dental hygienist. Her warmth extended beyond her work into her family life, where she found great joy in being a loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

A woman of deep spirituality, Gloria dedicated herself to serving others through her church. She taught the gospel to inmates at the local prison, brought weekly communion to the sick, and visited homebound parishioners with compassion and grace. Her steadfast commitment to her faith left a lasting impact on those around her.

Gloria also delighted in music and dancing-simple joys that brought lightness to her days and those she spent them with. She treasured time with family and embraced every opportunity to share laughter and love.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
