Chazz Printz
November 22, 2015
Many years ago, when I was a teenager living with my parents, Charlie and Beth Printz, in Charles Town, WV, I met Ned. This was in the mid-1960's, and Ned was involved in establishing the Badger Fire Extinguisher plant in nearby Ranson, WV. He stayed with us many times over those few years, and he, then Goldie, became great friends with my parents, and I and later my wife were their friends as well. They were a truly exceptional couple and had endured many hard times before their success with Amerex. How they dealt with those challenges helped to make them successful. They were always faithful to the friends they had made. They gave back to the community in immeasurable ways. They were positive and upbeat. Back in the W.Va. days and when they moved to Alabama, we looked forward to their visits - the cabin at Little Georgetown on the Potomac, and the parties with their family - Buck, John, Gail, Billy, and the rest. Ned helped me get my first summer job, working on the dry powder fire extinguisher line at Badger, and the two of them never forgot a Christmas, a graduation or a wedding that occurred in the Printz household. It occurs to me that I am just one beneficiary of the way the Paines were with a whole lot of folks, and that sits very well with me.

I was so sorry to hear about Goldie's death and that of Ned earlier this year. They were a great couple with whom to work when I was involved with them at Amerex in the UK. My condolences to all the family.

Goldie was a remarkable woman who made everyone's life brighter by her presence. She was a pioneer for career women and an inspiration to everyone. Her magic personality shined wherever she was. My thoughts are with her wonderful family.

With Goldies death comes the passing of a great couple who had a BIG impact on this community and many individuals. She and Ned "left their mark" and that is more than most. They will be greatly missed.

I was very saddened to hear of Goldie's passing. My father, Grover Wilson (who passed away last year at age 80), worked with Goldie and Ned at the Badger plant and later helped set up the plant in Trussville. As a teenager I had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Paine several times and always found her to be a very gracious lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Dear Buck and Serita, I wish you and your family that special peace that only God can give. You are both very special to me, and Goldie was a great humanitarian to this community. You are constantly in my thoughts.

I wish to express my condolences to the family. I know that your loss is painful. I hope that you can find comfort from our Heavenly Father who is the God of all comfort and who can help you to cope with the pain of losing a loved one. It can be so hard to face each day without that special someone, but the love and support of family and friends and, of course, our loving Creator, can help to ease the pain and sorrow. Again, please accept my sincere condolences.
