Bucyrus - Goldie Ward age 86 passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021.

Goldie was born January 8, 1935 in Wyandot Co, Ohio to Charles and Florence (Johnson) Bell. She married Nate Ward on January 25, 1958. Nate preceded her in death in 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents and siblings, Herbert, Orville, Donald, Stanley, Charles, Gladys and Hazel.

Goldie is survived by daughters Kathleen (Robert) Low of Illinois and Lorna (Byron) Uribe of Texas, grandchildren Rachel (Chris) Green, Ian Low, Julia Uribe, Markus (Jen) Uribe and great grandchild Emma Green.

Goldie attended Holmes Liberty School and graduated from Mt. Vernon Academy in Ohio. She also attended Columbia Union College in Maryland.

Goldie excelled at homemaking and caretaking. She retired from Heartland of Bucyrus and was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Moments of remembrance may be left online at [email protected]

The last time we talked, I told my Aunt Goldie how much I loved her. She and Uncle Nate were my childhood mentors, I loved staying with them, I felt safe and loved by both of them. Goldie was very kind and loving. She will be missed, but still in my heart.
