Dear Dad.

It is 3 years today since you went to fly with the angels with Mom. I miss you, Dad. Wish you were still here with us, sharing your love, laughter, and wisdom. You were the smartest man I ever knew - smarter than any scholar, and I always looked up to you. I miss having you around to talk to and ask your advice. You are always in my heart. Fly with the angels. Love you!

Dear Dad/Gramps,

It's been 3 years, and it went by so fast,

Last time we saw you is far in the past.

Wish you were still here by our side,

To see all we've done, and look on with pride.

Your advice, your help, your wisdom too,

We miss it all - especially you.

All the family events-you've missed so much,

Births, wedding, graduation and such.

Flo Bowden Don't be sad Linda. They are both having fun watching over you guys & trying to keeping up with you all ... Didn't realize that he was older then me by 3 years. LOL. Need to do something, then make a cupcake (or buy 1 ) & put 1 candle on it. Then make a wish... Your dad would want you to have a fun day... Hugs. ?

Linda Tzirulnick Thank you, for those kind words. I hope they are having fun watching over us, and helping us make all the right decisions in our lives. I like the idea of the candle in the cupcake... I think I will do that - but I will have to use a cookie, lol! How many times have we done that on the morning of someone's birthday!!!

Today, March 9, is my Dad's birthday.

BLAMPIED, Gordon Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Stirling Heights, Cambridge, Ontario. Gordon Blampied, eighty-five years of age, beloved husband of the late Wilma Adams-Blampied, dear father of Gordon Blampied, Jr. of Oshawa, Linda (Sheldon) Tzirulnick of Newmarket, and Mary (Peter) Witkowskj of Cambridge. Dear grandfather of Fara (Erik) Richard, Dustin, April, Nancy (Cole) Gehring, William, and Catherine. Survived by his brother Syd Blampied (Terry). Predeceased by his sister Irene McDermott, and her husband the late John. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Blampied will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A service of remembrance will be held at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Wednesday (today) at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, 3955 Cote de Liesse, Ville St-Laurent, Quebec on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. with interment following at Jardin Urgel Bourgie de Montreal.
