Judith & Family,
The sad news of Gordon's passing was brought to my attention today. He was a very great man and artist and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of his company.

I discovered Gordon Geotemann's paintings as tourist in town, wandering in the local art museum. I was struck with awe by his paintings in the museum. I immediately sought him out in his studio in town and spent a lovely hour or two chatting with him and his wife Judith about art and life. I will never forget that charmed afternoon. I will think fondly of Gordon each time I gaze at the painting I brought home that day. He was a great artist and a kind and lovely man. It is with great sadness that I say goodbye. My deepest condolences to Judith and the rest of his family.

Gordon...I felt I didn't know you well, but I have seen the evidence of your talent in all your art work and your gourmet dishes and the love for your family in knowing Elisabeth as my daughter-in-law. The world has lost a great soul.
