Thank you everyone for taking the time to wish us well and to share your Gordie memories. A year has passed already and although our hearts still ache tremendously, we continue to do what Gord would have wanted us to. You will never be forgotten, honey. We miss you tons. xx

I didn't't know you that well Gord, but I remember you as the big guy with a kind smile who loved life who dated my sister, Marie. I think the last time I saw you was years ago in B.C. when you visited her there.
I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of your passing. The biggest hearts often carry the heaviest burdens. May your soul forever rest in peace and may your loved-ones be consoled by cherished memories of you.

Terribly sad at the news of my dear friend! I went to Northview and Lindsay place highschool with Gordon and when I went to Greece to live he came to visit me and my brother. You had called me in spring to tell me you were coming into town for the summer and I am sadden that I didn't see you this summer! Rest in peace dear friend and I'm sure your humor is making them laugh up there!!!

Gordo,
If you're lucky enough to meet a few people in life that you call a true friend, who leave such lasting impressions, solid memories, and stories that will last a lifetime, Gord was one of those people.
From Siemens, Spar, Negril to Annie's , I've almost 40 years of memories of a friend who was larger than life with every day being a new adventure.
You will be missed by many and I'm sure tales will be told for many years to come of your stunts and adventures, of a friend who lived life like a beer commercial :)
Many things in life are hard to accept, and this is one of them.
I feel I not only lost a true friend, I lost a brother.
Respect!

I miss you so much that you deprived me of saying good bye to you.You are my best friend that it hurts so much my heart aches. Why I do not understand. I feel anger hurt and sorrow all in the same moment. We shared so many beautiful times together of joy and wonderful times. You welcomed my wife Annie into our world like she was there all the time. Everytime time we came to Annie's with my mom you would always order for her fried calamari for you knew that she loved it and a pitcher of Sangria for Annie and sit with us and drink it and eat. And your famous weber chicken. I will miss that forever. I truely miss you my friend. Love you always with a heavy heart.

Kara, Dakota and Family.
Reaching out with my deepest sympathy. I would chase Gordo and Sean Sewell around on Whistler and I was always amazed at how fast Gordo was on that snowboard! His infectious smile, warm demeanor and great laughs will be greatly missed. All the best my friend, all the best.
