Gordon Michael Bulger Obituary
Mike was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on February 4, 1942, to Gordon Whitney Bulger and Dorothy Dunne Bulger. The family moved to Honolulu, Hawaii at 5 years old, where he grew up for 8 years with his brothers Bob and Ray. His forever home was Dallas, TX, where he moved in 1955. Mike was a proud alumnus of Jesuit High School '60 and Southern Methodist University '64 where he attended with a football scholarship. Football was his passion; he played at Jesuit and SMU and later coached at Jesuit and Cistercian in addition to being a lifelong, devoted Cowboys fan.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and son, Brent of Dallas. He is survived by his brothers Bob (Anne) of New York, Ray (Kathy) of Carrollton, daughter Michelle of McKinney, son Scott (Li) of Austin and grandchildren Katy (Blake), Sara, Lauren, Kyle, Meileen, and Zachary.
Mike was known as an enthusiastic leader and coach, a charismatic and magnanimous friend and salesman, a competitive team-mate and fan, and a devoted father and grandfather who was known for his generosity to all.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held at Cistercian Abbey on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 10:30 AM.

I´m sorry for your loss. Mike was a dear friend to my husband, Jim, since their high school days at Jesuit. We enjoyed many fun times at Alumni events. Jeannette Goodman

Mike:
I have had the privilege of being your friend since 1954 when we moved next door to you on Cinderella Ln. Through the grade school days at St. Monica, then Jesuit High School, and most recently with the many meetings of the Class of 1960 at my donut shop, we had a good run, Buddy. Rest in peace, Mike. Till we meet again.
