Gordon Sharpsteen Obituary
A proud father and loving husband, Gordon was predeceased by his beloved wife Janet Sharpsteen and his son Fredrick Sharpsteen. He is survived by his son Gordon Sharpsteen Jr., who carries forward his legacy.
Gordon served honorably as a Seabee in the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. His time in the military reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment-qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
Outside of his service, Gordon found joy in many pursuits. He was an avid golfer and bowler, often spending time on the green or at the lanes with friends and family. He also had a deep appreciation for flowers, tending to them with care and delight.
Those who knew Big Gord will remember him for his steadfast presence and the warmth he brought into every room. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
