GORDON WILLIAMSON

Always a passionate defender of wildlife, friendly and enthusiastic, fellow Sierran Gordon urged me to join the VFEAC and I was a weekly participant until I left the state.

Gordon was a sweet, caring and passionate activist who gave of his time, money and energy to advocate for others! He was a great role model for others who care and want to stand up for what is right and just! Gwen

Gordon was quite the gentleman, outspoken in sharing truth, and a great friend to all-whether he knew you or not. He is missed as one who stood tall against all who would dare harm our environment or take what belongs to the people, from them. It was a privilege to call this humanitarian giant a friend. He never stopped encouraging and thanking us in our struggles to improve the world. Physical problems did not stop him from passionately fighting for Florida Hometown Democracy at every opportunity. He was a voice for wildlife and his compassion was boundless. I only wish he could have completed his memoir of his fascinating pioneering broadcasting career. We will not see his like again.
