I am writing for my mom Adelene Neislar who was a devoted friend of Bernie's for over 60 years. Even though they lived in separate cities they talked daily and saw each other as much as possible. It was a honor to share her last 2 birthdays and see them dote over each other like sisters. They were truly the dearest friends, an example of God's love.
A quote that is special to me "Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the mornings's hush. I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. Bernie is in Heaven with her Lord who she loved and awaits her family and friends who know Jesus. Mom and I can not be there today but know we are praying for a joyous celebration of life for our dear friend Bernie. Love in Christ, Judy Neislar Tokar and Adelene Neislar
