Dear Peggy Pat.
Grace, you and your mom continue to live in my heart. I'm not sure if you knew Grace was my Kindergarten Sunday School teacher at PACC. It was through her that I learned the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." (Luke 6:31).
Through the years of having you as loving neighbors, extraordinary bakers, and faithful members of our PACC church family, all three of you did unto others with such grace. I'm glad Grace was born into her name. For it holds so much of her character. Grace is what she taught us all.
When I started my first full-time job, right out of high school at MIT's Office of Laboratory Supplies, it was Grace who accompanied me on the MBTA bus and train lines to then guide me around MIT's Campus. Again, she was my guide and light who helped me find my way.
Through the years, Grace's love and lesson of the Golden Rule continued. Please know that since Mom broke the news about your amazing sister, I have added her name into my special "book of memories" to serve as a continued reminder of her full-of-grace life and the golden lessons of love that she gave to me and so many others. My loving condolences to you--her loving sister.
